Stabilizing management of fluctuating resources

We consider a resource management problem in which the management objective is to minimize fluctuations in resource stocks. Stabilizing management policies constitute the designing of memoryless state feedback control strategies for a discrete time resource model which contains unknown but bounded fluctuations. We also show that the problem of maximizing sustainable yield in an uncertain fishery can be considered as the problem of stabilizing of the stock level.The paper corresponds to an invited talk at the 14th Symposium on Operations Research, Ulm, September 6–8, 1989.The support by Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation is gratefully acknowledged.This work was supported by NSF and AFOSR under grant ECS 8602524.     

Sensitivity analysis for discrete optimal control problems

We present local sensitivity analysis for discrete optimal control problems with varying endpoints in the case when the customary regularity of boundary conditions can be violated. We study the behavior of the optimal solutions subject to parametric perturbations of the problem.     

棱镜自重变形对波面影响的研究

采用有限元方法分析了单棱镜在重力作用下三个典型位置的表面变形，对棱镜表面Φ425mm通光孔径轴向变形量进行Zernike多项式拟合，画出了相应的波差图，并确定设计方案.进一步选择Φ360 mm口径光束对双棱镜在几种典型相对位置下进行光线采样、追迹，计算得到不同情况下由于双棱镜自重变形引起的总波差.     

Maximizing a Linear Fractional Function on a Pareto Efficient Frontier

We consider the problem of maximizing a linear fractional function on the Pareto efficient frontier of two other linear fractional functions. We present a finite pivoting-type algorithm that solves the maximization problem while computing simultaneously the efficient frontier. Application to multistage efficiency analysis is discussed. An example demonstrating the computational procedure is included.     

The one-dimensional Hubbard model for large or infiniteU

The magnetic properties of the one-dimensional Hubbard model with a hardcore interaction on a ring (periodic boundary conditions) are investigated. At finite temperatures it is shown to behave up to exponentially small corrections as a pure paramagnet. An explicit expression for the ground-state degeneracies is derived. The eigenstates of this model are used to perform a perlurbational treatment for large but finite interactions. In first order inU ¹ an effective Hamiltonian for the one-dimensional Hubbard model is derived. It is the Hamiltonian of the one-dimensional Hcisenberg model with antiferromagnetic couplings between nearest neighbor spins. An asymptotic expansion for the ground-state energy is given. The results are valid for arbitrary densities of electrons.     

Theory of high temperature superconductivity in YBa2Cu3O7_δ

A theory of high temperature superconductivity in YBa₂Cu₃O₇__δ compound has been developed on the basis of the momentum pairing of electrons through the relativistic Darwin interaction. The transport behaviour of electrons is explained in terms of a mechanism of correlated electron transfer arising from the electron-phonon coupling. A model Hamiltonian has been developed to describe the superconducting properties of the system. This gives an energy gap which is higher than the BCS value. Attempts have been made to explain the absence of isotope effect, the linear dependence of specific heat, the presence of larger temperature-independent paramagnetism in the normal phase and the softening of some of the optic phonon modes observed in this system.     

喷淋蒸发翅管式冷凝器传热传质研究

采用蒸发式冷凝器可以降低制冷装置不可逆传热损失,提高机组效率。该文提出在制冷装置中采用喷淋蒸发翅管式冷凝器,分析了喷淋蒸发翅管式冷凝器的传热过程,建立其传热传质数学模型和设计计算方法,简要分析了环境温湿度、管翅结构、风速、淋水量等一些主要因素对传热传质性能的影响,为该种冷凝器的设计和应用提供理论参考。     

空间遥感相机长条反射镜组件的动力学特性分析

空间遥感相机长条反射镜较圆反射镜的整体刚度相差很大,整个组件在随火箭发射过程中因力学环境引起的自身位置改变导致面形的微小畸变从而对成像质量造成严重影响。因此,反射镜组件的设计就成为整个相机系统研制的重点与难点之一。对其进行科学、严谨的力学环境仿真是设计中的有效辅助手段。对某相机的长条反射镜组件动力学响应进行了较为深入的研究,借助MSC-patran,用有限元法进行了求解。获得了组件的动力学特性。     

基于M-Z干涉仪原理的光纤超声检测

提出了一种基于M_Z(Mach_Zehnder)干涉仪原理的光纤超声检测技术和U形结构的光纤传感器。讨论了光纤传感器与超声波之间的相互作用关系。对传感器的灵敏度与传感光纤的有效长度、U形结构的个数之间的关系进行了理论分析,实验结果和理论分析结果是一致的。通过比较超声波在三种不同入射方式下探测器的输出电压可知,该结构的光纤传感器在声信号垂直入射时由探测器探测到的信号最强,即传感器有很强的方向性,适合于对声表面波的定向检测。     

Clifford分析中无界域上正则函数的边值问题

在引入修正Cauchy核的基础上,讨论了无界域上正则函数的带共轭值的边值问题：a(t)Φ (t) b(t)Φ (t) c(t)Φ-(t) d(t)Φ=g(t)．首先给出了无界域上正则函数的Plemelj公式,然后利用积分方程方法和压缩不动点原理证明了问题解的存在唯一性．
